This policy describes our waitlist website and the current development version of Venta. Public listings and messaging are not yet available.

Information we handle

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, signup time, and record of your consent to launch and early-access emails. Hosting services may process IP addresses, browser information, and request logs to deliver and protect the website.

In the development app, Google or Apple sign-in provides an account identifier and available profile details such as name, email, and provider photo. Optional profile fields include a handle, bio, and location you enter. Custom profile and banner photos are currently stored on your device. With your permission, the app uses device location and heading to show you on the map; we do not currently save that location in our application database.

Why we use it

We use information to operate the waitlist, send requested launch updates, authenticate app users, show and save profile details, respond to support, and prevent misuse. We do not sell personal information or run advertising trackers on this website.

Services and sharing

Vercel hosts the website. Supabase provides app authentication and database services. Google and Apple process sign-in when you choose them; Apple MapKit provides app maps. These providers process information needed for their services. We may disclose information if required by law or reasonably necessary to protect people and the service.

Retention and choices

We keep waitlist information until you ask to leave or it is no longer needed for launch communications. Email us to unsubscribe, request access, correct information, or request deletion. We may verify ownership of an email/account before acting. Limited records may remain where needed for legal obligations or security; backups may expire on provider schedules.

You can change app location permissions in iPhone Settings and edit profile details in the app. Deleting a waitlist entry is separate from deleting an app account. In-app account deletion is still under development and must be completed before public app release.

Security and children

We use access controls and encrypted connections, but no service is completely secure. Venta’s waitlist is intended for adults 18 and older. Please do not submit children’s information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data.

International processing and updates

Service providers may process data outside your region. Your rights depend on applicable law. We will update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice when appropriate.
